Work is work and home is work. I finally hired someone to help me with my disorder at the latter. Six pages of homework await me in my inbox. I have known this since Tuesday and still have not opened the email.
Even so, having put my shoulder to the wheel, I feel the wagon budging. At my quilt guild meeting, I showed five completed projects that were checked off the list of UFOs (Un-Finished Objects). In my haphazard way, I hope to host family this coming Thursday for Thanksgiving, though none of them know it, nor have they called or written to invite me to their house. This is the way we do things. Wait and see who is most invested in gathering the clan. Last year I offered to make the meal and brought it to my sister's house where even my ex-husband was welcome. He hit it off with my brother-in-law, talking cars to their heart's content. That's what Thanksgiving is about. Seeing the light and saying it is good.

After dinner Thursday I'm going to head up to Ramona to see Jamie
VirgilKremensky. That'll be cool. I haven't stayed with her in years. I imagine we'll be staying up late and watching lots of movies just like old times :)
